Hopefully, prayerfully, tomorrow, I’ll have a new blog entry. Today, I just want to share three recent publications. Most of you may have already seen them, via Twitter shares. But for those who haven’t:
- I had a second piece in The Atlantic Sexes on unemployment and unmarried motherhood.
- On Mother’s Day, my piece, “The Importance of Mothering on Your Day Off” went live at HuffPost: Black Voices.
- This Sunday, May 19, I’ll be a featured guest on the wonderful radio webcast, Co-Parenting Matters, hosted by the dynamic Deesha Philyaw, author, activist, and co-founder of Co-Parenting 101. (Check out her piece, published today at Racialicious.com, “Six Things You Can Do Instead of Shaming Unmarried Mothers for Having Children,” as well as her recent debut book, Co-parenting 101: Helping Your Kids Thrive in Two Households after Divorce.)
I’d also like to take this opportunity to welcome new blog subscribers. I hope you continue to enjoy the work I’m doing here and elsewhere.
